Life Art Society 更生美术研究会 Life Art Society is invited to participate in the “Hui Chun“ Event at River Hongbao, held from January 27 to February 5, from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM, at Gardens by the Bay, Singapore to celebrate the Spring Festival and to usher in the Year of the Snake! Situated at Booths 8 and 9, this vibrant showcase celebrates the beauty of traditional Chinese calligraphy and painting, offering visitors a chance to experience the artistic essence of the Spring Festival. Professor Tan Khim Ser, President of Life Art Society, will preside over the opening ceremony at 7:00 PM on January 27, 2025, to welcome the auspicious Year of the Snake and kick off the “Hui Chun” Marathon Relay. The Year of the Snake symbolizes agility, wisdom, vitality, and auspiciousness. There will also be a “Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition” at the “Hui Chun” venue for public viewing. “Hui Chun” will feature New Year greetings and paintings. The themes of the New Year paintings created by calligraphers and artists include lotus, plum blossoms, orchids, chrysanthemums, cockscombs, peonies, bamboo, mandarin oranges, small carps, goldfish, snakes, and more, bringing the warmth and joy of Chinese New Year blessings to the public. Life Art Society aims to promote Chinese culture and art to the public, fostering a better understanding and appreciation of Chinese’s profound, long-standing and traditional art through “Hui Chun” activities. These activities also contribute to the lively atmosphere of celebrating Chinese New Year.
