By taking part in this contest, participants shall be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by the following terms and conditions. The River Hongbao committee reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.

Personal Data Protection

All personal data collected for the purpose of this contest, including email addresses and personal contact numbers will be used solely for the purpose of contacting prize winners (via email) and issuing of prizes in the form of e-vouchers (via WhatsApp). Sharing said data does not constitute marketing consent and shall not be used for marketing purposes whatsoever.

All personal data collected will be deleted 30 days after this contest ends.

Eligibility:

This contest is open to all Singapore citizens and permanent residents above the age of 13 with a valid email address and mobile phone number. Participants below the age of 13 are required to seek parental or guardian consent. Members of the River Hongbao committee, their immediate families, affiliates, subsidiaries, related agencies and suppliers and/or persons living in the same household will not be eligible to participate in the contest.

Duration of Contest

The contest will run from 09 January 2023, 10:00am SGT to 28 January 2023, 11.59pm SGT. Entries received outside of this time period will not be eligible to win. The winners will be announced on River Hongbao’s social media accounts, including TikTok, Facebook and Instagram by 28 February 2023.

How to Participate

Clues to each location will be posted on River Hongbao’s official TikTok page (@riverhongbao). Clues leading to the first 3 locations will be released on 9 January 2023, and the remaining clues to the final 2 locations will be released on 20 January 2023. Find and scan the QR code at each location and follow the instructions on screen to participate.

Participants who have visited and scanned the QR Codes at all 5 locations will stand a chance to win $300 worth of e-vouchers from FairPrice Group! 5 random winners will walk away with $300 worth of Fairprice Group e-vouchers each.
First 50 participants to scan the QR code at River Hongbao will receive $5 FairPrice Group e-vouchers.
Winners will be contacted through email.

Prizes

FIVE (5) random winners who have visited and scanned the QR Codes at all 5 locations will be chosen to walk away with FairPrice Group e-vouchers worth $300 each. Winners will be informed via email by 28 Feb 2023.

The maximum number of prizes that an eligible winner may win for this contest is ONE (1) prize per person. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and must be collected within one week after the announcement of results. The River Hongbao committee reserves the right to substitute the prizes above with one of a similar value at any point in time. The River Hongbao committee will issue the e-vouchers through the WhatsApp app. Therefore, participants must submit their mobile number and agree to be contacted via WhatsApp.

The first 50 participants who scan the QR code at Gardens By The Bay (River Hongbao Photo-Op Booth) will receive a $5 Fairprice Group e-voucher. The maximum number of voucher each participant can receive is one. The River Hongbao committee will issue the e-vouchers through WhatsApp. Therefore, participants must submit their mobile number and agree to be contacted by WhatsApp.

The River Hongbao committee and/or its agency may require prize winner to provide proof of identity, proof of age and/or proof of residency as a condition for the claiming of prizes. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the sole discretion of the River Hongbao committee and/or its agency. The prizes will only be awarded to the winner and not to proxies or representatives of the winners.

Other rights:

The River Hongbao committee reserves the right to reject any entries that do not comply with the aforementioned terms and conditions, and disqualify any participant for disrupting the contest or for breaching any of the terms and conditions at any point in time.

The River Hongbao committee’s decision on any matter relating to this contest is final and no considerations or appeals will be entertained. The River Hongbao committee reserves the right to amend the aformentioned terms and conditions at any point in time without prior notice.

If for any reason the contest is unable to be carried out in its entirety as planned, the River Hongbao committee reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the contest or invalidate any affected entries.
