Rive Hongbao 2022 will take place from 30 January 2022 to 6 February 2022. Please refer to the table below for further details on the different admission slots.

    Yes, entry is free! However, due to safe distancing measures in place, each session has strictly controlled numbers. All visitors are required to pre-register for a time slot before arriving at the event site to avoid disappointment.

Kindly register for all pax attending, regardless of age, as 1 unique QR code will be issued for each individual.

Due to prevailing government capacity controls for unvaccinated children, the number of children aged 12 years and under are strictly controlled. Please ensure you indicate the number of children aged 12 years and under when making your ticket selection. Proof of the child’s age will be required for verification at check-points.

Only fully vaccinated, recovered, medically ineligible individuals, or children aged 12 years and below (subject to event capacity) will be allowed into River Hongbao. All visitors are required to wear masks, check in via TraceTogether, and have their fully vaccinated status verified before entering River Hongbao. An individual is considered as fully vaccinated if they have:

  • received the appropriate regimen of World Health Organization Emergency Use Listing vaccines, including their respective duration post-vaccination for the vaccine to be fully effective, and had their vaccination records ingested in MOH’s national IT systems.
  • recovered from Covid-19
  • is medically ineligible for vaccine and has obtained a negative result from an MOH approved Covid-19 antigen rapid test taken within 24 hours before the visit.

Those who have recovered from Covid-19 must present their valid negative results for admission. There will not be any pre-event testing station on site for visitors.

Online registration of tickets will start from 19 January 2022, 11AM with different event dates of River Hongbao 2022 released on subsequent dates for registration. You may register via riverhongbao.sg or call the hotline +65 6983 6438 for further assistance. Registration may be done either as an individual booking or a group booking (max. of 5 tickets per booking).

Visitors may only start queuing for their allocated time slot after the check-in time and all visitors will be allowed entry only once during their time slot. Check-in counters will open 30 mins before and close 30 mins after scheduled time as shown below. Pre-registered visitors who arrive after check-in counters close may be rejected entry. When your visiting time slot is up, please exit safely and quickly. No extension of time slot is allowed.

A confirmation email with QR code(s) for entry into event will be sent to the email address given during registration. Confirmation email with QR code(s), either shown through mobile or printed hardcopy, is required to be presented for check-in on the actual event day.

Those who are medically ineligible for vaccine has to obtain a negative result from an MOH approved Covid-19 antigen rapid test taken within 24 hours before the visit. The test result should either be updated into the MOH’s national IT systems or shown through a hardcopy document at check-points.

Security bag check will be conducted before entry. To minimise contact with visitors’ belongings & to speed up check-in, please bring minimal baggage to event.

River Hongbao is an outdoor event with limited shelter available. For your safety, outdoor activities may be postponed and/or cancelled due to weather conditions and/or any other unexpected circumstances with no refunds or alternative dates offered. We recommend packing raincoats, umbrellas and caps in preparation for any major changes in the weather.

Visitors may refer to Gardens by the Bay for more information on limited mobility access within the Gardens. If any further assistance is required, please feel free to approach any one of our volunteers at the event for assistance.

As there are many excitable elements at the event, pets are not allowed at River Hongbao for safety considerations.

During the festive season, our parking spaces are limited at the Gardens and visitors are advised to take public transport. Besides the carpark at our Main Entrance, The Meadow and Satay by the Bay, more parking options are available at Bayfront Plaza.

Various dining locations are available in Gardens by the Bay. Consumption of drinks are restricted to the designated drinks corners.
