Is it safe to visit River Hongbao?

We have taken extensive safety measures to ensure our visitors' safety at the event. Here are some of the safety measures we have put in place for your peace of mind:

  1. Limited capacity with assigned time slot for each visitor to limit the number of visitors present at the event at any time
  2. Colour-coded wristbands to verify and identify visitors from different time slots
  3. An electronic headcount system to monitor the number of visitors within the event area at any specific time
  4. Compulsory temperature screening for all visitors
  5. Deployment of safe-distancing ambassadors for crowd control
  6. Scheduled disinfection, especially for high-touch surfaces
Is the event free?

Yes, entry is free! However, due to safe distancing measures in place, we will be limiting the number of visitors at the event at any given time by pre-allocating time slots of one and a half to two hours to each visitor.

Where can I get tickets for the event?

Tickets with pre-allocated time slots will be released daily on our website from 3 February, 11am onwards. Each visitor is only allowed to reserve tickets for one time slot per day, up to a maximum of 4 tickets.

(Tickets for the extended event 17-20 Feb will be available for booking via www.riverhongbao.sg from 16 Feb, 3pm onwards.)

I reserved tickets for the wrong time slot. Am I able to exchange them for tickets for a different date or time?

Changes to selected slots can be done from 6 February 2021 to 20 February 2021.

I would like to bring my young children to the event. Do they need a ticket to enter?

All visitors regardless of age will require a ticket to enter River Hongbao 2021. Children below 12 yrs of age must be accompanied by a supervising parent or guardian.

Can I bring my pets to the event?

As there are many excitable elements at the event, pets are not allowed at River Hongbao 2021 for safety considerations.

Will there be food and drinks available at the event?

Various dining locations are available in Gardens by the Bay. However, there will be no sale of food within the River Hongbao event area. No consumption of food will be allowed within the event grounds as well.

Is the event sheltered?

At Gardens by the Bay, most of our attractions will be outdoors with little to no shade, so we recommend packing raincoats, umbrellas and caps in preparation for any major changes in the weather.

What happens when it rains?

For your personal safety, programmes may be cancelled or delayed without prior notice due to rain or bad weather warnings.

Is the event wheelchair-friendly?

Yes, the event is wheelchair-friendly! If any further assistance is required, please feel free to approach any one of our volunteers at the event for assistance.
